Brazil. The TCU - Tribunal de Contas da União, located in Brasilia (DF), acquired around 1,200 equipment of the most varied types, supplied by Trox Brasil, commercial partner of Dannenge International in the distribution of active air systems by photocatalysis from RGF Environmental.
The building has a total of five floors with slabs from 3694 m² and has a non-central air conditioning system (Auto) with air renewal and two social elevators.
In order to promote air decontamination and improve the quality of the internal environment, TCU chose RGF Environmental's photocatalysis air purifiers, installed in different environments, integrated with Cassette, Floor-Ceiling, Hi-wall and recessed units, including the specific devices in the elevators.
In total, 1,191 units were installed, with 35 Halo Led units, 1,048 PTCA, 69 Mini Split, 14 Halo Rove and 25 BRU (recessed units) in the most diverse environments such as administrative offices, pantries and cafeteria, meeting room rooms, hall and elevators.
Ricardo Cherem de Abreu, technical director of Dannenge International, highlights the benefits offered by RGF's active air purifiers: "The ease of installation was a differential, without the need to modify the air conditioning system, in addition to being carried out with the building in operation at night, without compromising the work of employees and collaborators."
For Joel de Carvalho Santos, Trox Parts& Parts Supervisor, the biosafety and efficacy certifications provided by RGF Environmental's teams without harming human health, as they are free of ozone and mercury, were an incentive to choose TCU, in addition to the implementation of improvements in indoor air quality.
"The supply and installation of RGF equipment with active air oxidation technology by photocatalysis and bipolar ionization was the solution we implemented at the TCU to prevent the spread of contagious diseases, including Covid-19, ensuring decontaminated air free of viruses, bacteria, mold and odors," says Santos.
