Costa Rica. As a Collaborating Center, Grupo Clima has the possibility of running non-profit courses and programs, following an agreement that has existed since 2016 between the company and the National Learning Institute (INA).
A Collaborating Center is a public or private company that goes through strict regulations that allow it to sign a collaboration agreement with the INA for the execution of Training and Vocational Training Services without profit mediating and using its own resources, in other words, the INA certifies a professional of the company so that it can provide free training endorsed by the institution to collaborators of the same, at the end these people must carry out the evaluation of the course and will receive a title of participation in the approved module.
Currently through this modality Grupo Clima has managed to train more than 163 technicians with more than 800 hours of study in the course called: Good practices in refrigeration and Refrigerant management.
The INA provides 100% of the contents that will be taught in the course, thus ensuring the equality and legitimacy of the information taught in the Collaborating Centers, in addition to providing: follow-up, advice and support.

The process to be authorized as a Collaborating Center began in 2013, thanks to the initiative of one of the supervisors of the North Pacific Branch, Mr. Walker Abarca; thus begins the dream of being able to train its collaborators and provide them with a support that I guaranteed their knowledge. However, it was not until 2016 that Grupo Clima received official authorization from the INA to begin conducting the trainings.
"The process begins with the need to provide regional staff with a technical basis that will contribute to the development and improvement of the service provided by Grupo Clima," said Mr. Abarca.
This modality allows the company's employees to update and provide ongoing training for their performance within the production unit and improve their levels of competence and job stability.
