Latin America. Gabriel Covete has been announced as the new Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Latin America regions of Taco Comfort Solutions.
Gabriel has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, control systems, and strong experience in various applications, including commercial buildings, data centers, district power systems, heating and cooling processes.
He comes from working at Armstrong Fluid Technologies, with whom he spent the last 21 years of his professional career holding the position of General Manager for Latin America.
Gabriel defines himself as a people-focused leader, who helps the team win by leading by example, influence and persuasion, while energizing and empowering the team. Also as a senior results-oriented executive with experience in leading and accelerating growth in an adverse economic context. Focused on key results in revenue and profitability, P&L, EBIT, with a proven track record of unparalleled efficiency achievements.
In 2020 Taco Comfort Solutions celebrated its 100th anniversary. This is a third-generation family business headquartered in Cranston, RI, designs and manufactures high-efficiency heating, cooling and air quality comfort systems. Taco has sales and manufacturing locations in the United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, and Vietnam.
