Fieldpiece extends distance range on your Job Link wireless system

FieldPieceInternational. Fieldpiece Instruments announced that those using its existing tools can leverage the wireless Job Link System from a distance of up to 1,000 feet to measure, test and report their findings.

With its long wireless range, the Job Link system allows tools to be placed in optimal locations up to 1,000 feet apart for accurate measurement results and live system adjustments. The Job Link system helps HVAC/R professionals increase their efficiency in every job by allowing them to be in more than one location at a time up to 1000 feet away.

HVAC/R professionals don't have to replace their existing tools to take advantage of the extended wireless range. New and existing Fieldpiece collectors, probes, scales and clamp meters work with the Job Link system. With the Job Link app, HVAC/R Professional can document electrical readings, pressures, temperatures, and microns in a report to verify system efficiency to customers, saving time and reducing calls. In addition, with the "Live Look-In" option, coworkers in the base office can remotely view the same measurements the technician is seeing in the field to help easily diagnose problems and reduce callbacks.

"With the latest version of the Job Link app, fieldpiece's existing Job Link system tools can be used over longer wireless ranges up to 1000 feet away to measure, test and report findings directly on your mobile device. This is great for the professional in the field who is using our collectors, probes, scales or clamp meters in their daily work at the customer's location," said Charlotte Loomis, senior marketing manager.

The Job Link system allows the user to receive multiple measurements from multiple locations in real time on a smart device. The Tools in the Job Link system communicate directly with the mobile device or SMAN digital collectors using Bluetooth technology.

Since Job Link connects wirelessly to multiple probes and meters across an entire system, the HVAC/R pro gets an overview of the entire system in real time, all from a single screen. There is no need for long cables and hoses or to continue returning to a tool to verify a reading. As soon as adjustments are made to the system, real-time dynamic data will be displayed on the device for quick adjustments.
