Latin America. The company unveiled the latest updates to version 4.0 of its Verasys software, designed to deliver building control solutions for the light commercial market that are predictive, proactive and preventative.
Highlights of the new version 4.0 of Verasys:
- BACnet MS/TP Integration- Add third-party devices to the Verasys system via BACnet MS/TP integration with Verasys 4.0. These devices are automatically detected when you connect them to the system BUS and their data is automatically populated into a predefined set of views depending on the type of object.
- Controller clone: Installers can configure set points and parameters for a device and use the driver clone feature to copy that configuration to one or more devices on the network with the click of a button. The feature has built-in intelligence to copy only the parameters that are important for control and omit settings that could be harmful to the network or computer configuration.
- Programming of zone groups: The Verasys Zone Coordinator can support up to 32 zone controllers and can place these controllers in one of four different groups. Each group has its own weekly schedule that also includes the ability to add exceptions, for example, on holidays. In addition, each group has the independent ability to temporarily switch the zoning system to the busy mode system for after-hours operation.
- Site alarms: With this new feature, you can see all active and historical alarms from all devices in one place, on a single screen. Each alarm displays information about the device it came from, when it occurred, and the severity of the alarm. The display also includes historical alarms so you can identify systematic problems with the equipment.
"Verasys advances technology and simplifies the user experience to provide the most efficient and secure control applications in the wide range of smart building equipment."
