International. Intarcon presented its new 2021 rates for commercial refrigeration equipment, which includes a range of commercial refrigeration solutions for the Horeca sector (hotels, restaurants and cafes) and supermarkets, as well as specific systems for high humidity applications, warehouses or meat preservation and maturation applications.
Intarcon assures that it continues to bet on natural gases such as R-290 – propane -, as well as the manufacture of more efficient equipment. The main novelties of this rate are:
• New compact R-290 equipment in our popular construction of equipment on the door of the cold room, with very low refrigerant load.
• New CR3 models of ceiling equipment, with axial or centrifugal condensation, for positive chambers up to 50 m3 and negative chambers up to 25 m3.
• New models improved 55 and 75 in low temperature optimizing compact models and low temperature splits with the new Tecumseh FH2 compressors, quieter, with greater cooling power, and lower energy consumption.
• Equipment with a lower carbon footprint, free of leak control. This new rate includes the upgrade of the range of split equipment to reduce the refrigerant load. The liquid lines have been specifically resized for the refrigerants R-134a and R-449A, allowing them to be reduced in size. As a result, all single-phase split equipment is delivered with refrigerant preload up to 10m of refrigeration lines, equivalent to less than 5 tons. of CO2, and are exempt from leak control.
• R290 Waterloop compressors. An evaporator with built-in group? This is precisely the innovative 100% natural solution that Intarcon proposes for cold rooms of up to 50 m3.
• New smarter electronic regulation, XM670K. A new electronic control unit that ensures the safety of the cold chain, the environment and the installation, with predictive self-diagnosis, gas collection maneuver, and synchronization with other equipment. The new XM electronics incorporate advanced self-diagnostic algorithms to detect anomalous operations, such as ice accumulation in the evaporator, or lack of gas. It also detects the malfunction of components (defrost resistances, fans or compressor) or probe failures, in anticipation of a potential breakage of the cold chain.
Intarcon also explained that it also has an industrial product range of up to 400 hp to refrigerate processing rooms, large cold rooms, pre-chambers, loading docks, etc., using compact equipment, power plants or chiller plants, in the temperature range of -40 to 20ºC, with multiple options of refrigerants such as CO2, R-290, NH3 or the classic R-134a and R-449A, as well as other gases under consultation.
The new rate takes effect from March 1, 2021, and is available for consultation and download on the website www.intarcon.com
