Spain. The Climatización y Refrigeración – C&R fair announced a change of dates for the event that takes place biennially in the city of Madrid. The event, which was previously scheduled for the month of February 2021, will now take place from November 16 to 19 of the same year.
IFEMA and the C&R Organizing Committee assure that these new dates allow to bring together the sector in a more favorable celebration environment in economic and health terms, and contribute to the necessary impulse of the activity of this industry.
"This is a particularly significant edition because it wants to contribute to the promotion of the commercial activity of a sector essential for health, economy and well-being, in a context that allows to guarantee the national and international scope of the fair, the face-to-face meeting and professional relations in the best conditions of security and business", says the statement of the event.
IFEMA, the fairgrounds, has obtained AENOR certification for the hygienic sanitary measures adopted, as well as for the protocols developed against COVID-19, which guarantee the safe development of fairs, congresses and events in its venues.
The AENOR certificate is an external endorsement of the effectiveness of the measures applied by the company and in parallel, supports that these initiatives comply with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and the regional and local authorities in terms of prevention and hygiene on COVID-19.
In addition, the Community of Madrid has awarded IFEMA the Madrid Guarantee seal that recognizes IFEMA's work in the adoption of mandatory standards in the new normal imposed by COVID-19, as well as for the development of extraordinary protocols. In addition, IFEMA has obtained the 'Safe Travels' seal from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) for the Convention, Meeting and Event Center industry, for the protocols and actions carried out for the return to activity with a safe, healthy and responsible reopening.
