Costa Rica. Johnson Controls announced the acquisition of the consulting firm Termo Aire, which serves a large number of clients in more than 20 countries throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region.
Thanks to the signing of this agreement, the Johnson Controls Center of Excellence in Costa Rica, Circuito, will have the mechanical, electrical and plumbing capabilities of the Costa Rican consultancy, as well as the rest of its expertise in LEED, HVAC systems and fire protection systems. Termo Aire professionals will now become part of johnson Controls' multidisciplinary team.
"This merger with Termo Aire further strengthens our network of Centers of Excellence and our position in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services market," said Daryl Haga, vice president of Global Sales Support Centers at Johnson Controls.
With 30 years of operation in Latin America and the Caribbean, Termo Aire has implemented solutions and designed spaces for public and private clients in an area that amounts to more than 16 million square meters in the sectors of hospitality, retail, offices and finance, industry, free zones and data centers, among others.
Prior to this acquisition, the Johnson Controls Circuit Center of Excellence and Termo Aire worked hand in hand on various engineering design projects since 1996, when they created a synergy of innovative and sustainable services and solutions to offer to the whole world.
