International. In recognition of its outstanding performance, Carrier Transicold named W&B Service Company of Duncanville, Texas, its North American Distributor of the Year, and Marítima Dominicana (MARDOM) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, its Distributor of the Year in Latin America.
For Marítima Dominicana, the 2019 Distributor of the Year award is the fourth in 11 years. "MARDOM has developed an extraordinary organization focused on service, customer service and business performance," said Jesus Estrada, Carrier Transicold's regional director for Mexico and Latin America. "Year after year, MARDOM has consistently demonstrated its significant performance in all aspects of its operations, and especially in customer service."

"While it was awarded to the Duncanville branch, we see it as an accomplishment for everyone in the company. We would not have been able to earn it without the joint work and extra effort of all our locations to provide exceptional service to our customers. Located near Dallas, the Duncanville distributor is one of W&B Service Company's multiple operators in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, all of which were also recognized with Carrier Transicold's Platinum NextLevel award for their performance in 2019. In addition, two W&B Service Company employees received individual merits: David Valdez of the Duncanville branch was named Sales Manager of the Year, and Tony Cremente of the Lowell, Arkansas dealership of W&B Service Company was selected as Parts Manager of the Year.
W&B Service Company, one of Carrier Transicold's first truck and trailer refrigeration distribution centers and currently one of the largest, has earned Distributor of the Year recognition eight times in 50 years since the Carrier Transicold dealer network was formed in 1970.
In total, Carrier Transicold recognized 55 distribution centers and five individuals from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean with 96 awards for achievement in customer satisfaction, growth, business investment and service dominance. Among these merits, CNR Refrigeration of Hempstead, New York, was recognized with the prestigious Extra Mile award for exemplary customer service.
Other individual recognitions included: Service Manager of the Year for North America, presented to Charlie Brock of Sunbelt Transport Refrigeration in Tampa, Florida; Service Manager of the Year for Latin America to Patricia Ramos Gil, in Specialized Refrigeration for Western Transport, Tlaquepaque, Mexico.
