Chile. Dannenge International, representative of the RGF Environmental Group, a manufacturer of air purification systems and HVAC maintenance products, supplied the Sun Monticello Casino with the Guardian QRP, an air purification system that generates oxidizing ions using PHI (hydroionization photocell) technology, removing contaminants at the source, both in the air and on the surfaces of the environments, fighting bacteria, fungi, viruses, odors and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Located 57 km south of Santiago - Chile, in San Francisco de Mostazal, Casino Sun Monticello consists of a hotel, game rooms, bars, restaurants, spa, disco and concert hall. The air purification system installed in the air conditioners serves the Boulevard Monticello, composed of more than 6 restaurants and varied cuisine. In partnership with Trane Chile, four Guardian QRP units were applied to the 30 TR roofs, with custom shapes and couplings, making it easy to install and maintain the HVAC system ducts.
"We installed the four units in the piping systems serving the Boulervard Monticello food court and solved 100% of the odor problems in the environments in less than 24 hours later. PHI technology has proven effective in combating odors and particles. We are very pleased with the partnership in the use of RGF products through Dannenge," said Juan Pablo Espinoza, Trane's HVAC Systems Manager.
It is worth mentioning that, since 2002, Chile has banned the use of IRC (Radio Catalytic Ionization) technology to generate ozone, allowing only advanced PHI oxidation technologies. The application of RGF, REME and REME-LED technologies is also allowed, the latter replaced the UV lamp with LED, with a service life of up to 5 years.
