International. Mexichem Fluor unveiled its new corporate identity, Koura, to reflect the company's long-term commitment to sustainability and the environment, its heritage, people, communities, safety and health.
The company is investing significantly in its global operations to streamline its offerings, and is developing lower GWP products across its range, with innovation, performance and sustainability as a primary focus. As an example of its ongoing drive to meet and exceed current and future sustainability goals and environmental regulations, the company developed a refrigerant recycling program in Japan in 2018.

Koura has a long history in the HVAC market, based on product quality, reliability and a high level of customer and technical support. Under its Klea brand, the company supplies a range of energy-efficient products for industrial and commercial refrigeration, including R-410A, R-134A, R22, R32, R407A and R407C to many of the world's largest companies, including Panasonic, Daikin, Toshiba Carrier, Trane and Mitsubishi. Koura is investing in the development of refrigerant options with a lower GWP to provide its customers with the performance they demand.
Koura's refrigerant range will remain under the KLEA brand, and the company will continue to develop, manufacture and market fluorine products to supply in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry.
