Brazil. Full Gauge Controls donated different equipment to the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), in order to contribute to the training of students of the Postgraduate Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering. In addition to donating the digital instruments, the company did initial training for the lab team.
"It is an honor and satisfaction to have Full Gauge Controls at PUCRS, valuing the important relationship between industry and the university. This collaboration will sophisticate the control of our climate chamber that will serve four undergraduate and postgraduate courses," says Bruno de Rosso Ribeiro, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering.
"We visited the laboratory to identify the needs and what we could offer that would help in the practical training of these students," says the technical product consultant for the external market of Full Gauge Controls, Felipe Accorsi.
The signaled priority was to have a supervisory system to assist in the monitoring of the data. "When we checked what was needed, we donated various temperature and humidity controllers, such as TC-900E Log, MT-512E Log and MT-530E Super, as they can all be connected to our software, Sitrad Pro," says Accorsi.
The laboratory will help by offering the ideal environment for testing during classes as well as for completion work. The instruments and software are expected to be installed before the end of the month, when Full Gauge Controls must undergo new training at the university.
