Unirefri opens new Technological Interaction Center in Guatemala

Guatemala. The distributor Unirefri opened, with the help of Lennox, the doors to specialized training in air conditioning, the new Unirefri Technological Interaction Center -CITU-, located in zone 9 of Guatemala City.

The Unirefri Technological Interaction Center -CITU- is a project that with the support of Lennox, is focused on training on the operation of air conditioning equipment including VRF (Variable Flow of Refrigeration) technology.  The total investment of the project is around Q1, 000,000 (about US$129,828) including the contribution of exhibition equipment for didactic purposes that were donated by Lennox, at a cost of Q542,500 (about US$70,431).
"Our commitment is to provide our customers with reliable equipment, but beyond that, to provide them with specialized technical advice and continuous training, which we are sure that with the Unirefri Technological Interaction Center -CITU- we will fulfill our promise, providing free specialized training that will give new and better opportunities to the sector" commented Mr. Jorge Robles, General Manager of Unirefri.

The CITU will teach different courses during the year, divided into modules and at no cost to the participants. These courses are aimed at the Unirefri sales force, installers, contractors and their technicians, end customers, purchasing staff, engineering and personnel in charge of the area that is related to the management and maintenance of air conditioning equipment, as well as anyone interested in learning and becoming technical in these processes. This center will initially be open to customers from Guatemala and El Salvador, later opening doors throughout Central America, for key customers of Unirefri and Lennox.

This proposal includes the complete presentation of theoretical and practical information about the air conditioning cycle and the interaction in an active way with working equipment for better learning. The modules start in November 2019 and all participants will receive a diploma of compliance and approval.
