Cooling monitoring in Argentine cuisine

Argentina. Monitoring and coordinating refrigeration facilities remotely, with access to temperature histories, protecting equipment and food stored there, is certainly something that facilitates management in the food sector.

That's why businessman Luciano Di Sarno, owner of the Argentine restaurant El Ladrillo, switched to using the Sitrad supervisor software, developed by Full Gauge Controls. The implementation of the system, made about ten years ago by himself – an electrical engineer by training – was already responsible three times for "saving" the engines of the establishment.

Sitrad is applied in the two units of the restaurant, specialized in the typical Argentine empanadas and located in the capital of the country, Buenos Aires. For Luciano, the fact of receiving alerts on the cell phone when a computer is not working properly or there is some type of modification in the established standards, was fundamental at the time of the choice. "We went on to use the products of Full Gauge Controls, connected to Sitrad, in 2009. In addition to the alarms, I use graphic curves a lot, and my satisfaction was so much with the results and benefits obtained that I went on to use the instruments also in my other venture, a brewery, "he says.

Among the products used in the restaurants are five controllers of the TC-900 clock line (currently TC-900E Log) – responsible for monitoring five cold chambers – two TI-33 plus thermometers (currently TI-44E plus) – to measure the temperature of the engine room, since the motors are conditioned separately – and also a Conv-32 (converter that connects everything). to Sitrad). Luciano usually checks the data collected by the software personally, with the help of his father: "Two or three times we were able to prevent the burning of the engines thanks to the temperature alarms and the evolution of the curves of the start and stop graphs", Highlights.

Sitrad can be implemented in companies of different sizes and segments. The download is free (in www.sitrad.com/es) and there is no cost to use the system. To access the information it is enough to have a device (tablet, computer or cell phone) connected to the Internet. This gives the user the possibility to verify and correct parameters safely, at any time and from anywhere, guaranteeing their peace of mind and the proper functioning of their business.
