Mexico. Danfoss held its first convention of cooling distributors, where they shared the macrotrends in refrigeration and updated their business partners on the requirements of the industry, train them in a theoretical way and exchange experiences.
The company explained that its vision is now focused on interconnection, by 2020 approximately 26 billion objects will be linked together by the Internet of Things. Devices rely on sensors to become smart, and more interconnected devices will increase the need for data cooling so a clear trend is towards data centers.
Electrification is another megatrend, Danfoss makes the transition from centralized conventional energy to intelligence, more efficient, decentralized and consumer-centric energy systems largely based on energy sources. Thus, connected supermarkets, cold rooms, exhibitors of connected glass doors, will be one of the objectives to be covered for next year.
The Danfoss convention offered themes for carbon footprint reduction, connected cold rooms, services within other specific applications in retail, efficient refrigeration, solar energy, battery storage, heat recovery. This is the first time it has been carried out and it is expected to serve as a model to be implemented year after year, since the main objective is to share knowledge and leisure in one of the most dynamic markets such as the refrigeration industry.
"The first cooling convention committed us to offer first-hand information to our business partners, we are convinced that it will be a great learning for everyone where our philosophy of customer service is the most important," said Xavier Casas, Managing Director of Danfoss Mexico.
