Brazil. The initiative aims to assist in the placement in the labour market of women victims of domestic violence.
A company that, in certain sectors, has 90% female labor, understands the importance and values the role of women within the industry. Therefore, when the management became aware of the Por Mí Program, an initiative of the Municipality of Canoas-RS to insert women victims of domestic violence into the labor market, the adhesion was practically immediate.
The deputy financial administrative director of Full Gauge Controls, Magali Bujak, contacted the Municipality to better understand about the operation of the project: "We heard about the program and contacted those responsible for a meeting. Our will is, in addition to being part of it, to further disseminate this idea to guarantee the participation of more companies in the region," he says. For Magali, the most important thing is to promote opportunities for these women, so that they can get a placement in the market.
The collaboration was signed at the end of August. Full Gauge Controls has already started receiving resumes sent by the project and doing selection processes and interviews.
