International. The Italian firm, Vortice, confirmed the acquisition of the Spanish brand Casals, buying 100% of the share capital of Ventilación Industrial IND. S.L. (Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Girona, Catalonia, Spain).
The statement indicates that both companies will continue to pursue the same values and goals as before, and are motivated by a passion for taking on new challenges, especially in terms related to product design, technological innovation and market expansion.
Thanks to this partnership, the Vortice Group will be able to strengthen its offer with catalogues that complement the products of the entire Group, which will expand the Company's network and open new commercial avenues in the international market. "From now on, Vortice and Casals will share their technical knowledge and business assets, which will allow us to create a multiplier for the growth and development of both companies. Logistics flows and production structures will also be strengthened. In addition, the two Research and Development teams of the companies will pay special attention to strengthening the process of developing new products, with the aim of providing increasingly efficient solutions with a focus on the environmental impact of products, the reduction of energy consumption and noise pollution. "says Stefano Guantieri, Managing Director of Vortice and the new Vice President of Casals.
"The name, identity and logo of Casals will be maintained," says David Samper, CEO and also Vice President of Casals., a company that, in turn, will be able to reinforce and expand its wide portfolio of Industrial Ventilation products, particularly the certified range of 200-300-400°C/2h for the extraction of hot fumes, the ATEX certified range for potentially explosive environments and the certification of 120V/60Hz products that meet international electrical standards.
The Vortice Group also owns Loran, a company specialized in the development, production and sale of Air Treatment Units for industrial applications. In fact, Loran's core business is the manufacture of custom projects, designed specifically for the installation and system requirements of its Customers.
"At a time when many multinationals come to Italy to buy 'prestige parts' of our manufacturing system, we are going against the tide with the acquisition of 100% of the Spanish company Casals. It is a path that we began to travel several years ago: first with the acquisition of Loran in 2010. Then we crossed the Atlantic and, from Vortice LATAM's headquarters in Costa Rica, we now coordinate several countries in the Central and South American markets. In 2013, the Vortice Group opened the Vortice Ventilation System production plant in Changzhou (China), mainly focused on the Chinese domestic market. It is also important to mention that none of this would have been possible without the professional assistance of BCO Swiss Family Office, the Family Office that for years has been strategically linked to the Vortice Group to carry out the defined expansion plan. And now, thanks to this important additional step, the Group will have more than 400 employees, with a consolidated turnover of the Group that will exceed € 100 M", says Andrea Sacha Togni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vortice Group.
