Brazil. The National Water Treatment Department (DN) of ABRAVA launched, together with the Regional Chemistry Council (CRQ), during Febrava 2019, the Renabrava 8. This is, according to Charles Domingues, president of DN, a guide with recommendations on water treatment for HVAC/R.
Domingues points out that the market has no reference on the subject. "Until recently, the water used was from companies like Sabesp. Today, due to the high cost of the product, reused water is used in artesian wells. All without any treatment."
Therefore, Domingues, who for five months assumed the presidency of the ABRAVA Water Treatment DN, partnered with CRQ, which validated the Renabrava 8. "These are recommendations on water management, classification and especially responsibility to the user," he says. "And it's the main thing in the chapter for HVAC/R water treatment."
"Renabravas represents ABRAVA's opinion based on the best and most up-to-date engineering practices, and aims to guide professionals in the HVAC/R sector in technical matters related to refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heating, "- explains Domingues.
