Mexico. The most important national solar energy associations in Mexico, such as the Mexican Association of Solar Energy (Asolmex), the National Association of Solar Energy (ANES), and the Association of Mexican Manufacturers in Renewable Energies (Famerac), together with Intersolar, have come together to present in Mexico for the first time Intersolar Mexico, an exhibition that will take place from September 3 to 5 at the Pepsi Center of the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
The high potential of solar energy in Mexico makes it one of the most attractive markets in Latin America; because not only is the share of the solar photovoltaic market in the energy matrix growing, but also the number of solar thermal energy applications.
The abundance of solar resources, high energy prices, gas imports, declining technology costs, and the growing need for resource diversification combine to place Mexico among the world leaders for solar development.
The partnership with Asolmex, ANES and Famerac aims to bring together the most relevant players in the solar industry in the same exhibition strengthening the positioning of solar technologies in Mexico. "We are delighted to work with all three associations and present the solar industry as a whole, solar pv and solar thermal in one place," says Dr. Florian Wessendorf, Managing Director of Solar Promotion International GmbH.
Intersolar Mexico will be a forum for manufacturers, installers, service providers and many other relevant stakeholders of the solar energy industry in Mexico to present their products and innovations.
Solar Photovoltaic Industry and Solar Thermal Industry, in the same forum
The solar PV industry in Mexico has grown rapidly in recent years and has gained the attention of many investors and government representatives; and the solar thermal industry is not far behind, mexico's solar thermal market is the second largest in Latin America after Brazil; in a recent market study conducted by Solrico, Mexico is positioned as the global market leader in solar heat applications in industrial processes. Recently, the government of Mexico City announced its Strategy for Energy Sustainability, also called Ciudad Solar, which includes ambitious targets for both solar photovoltaics and solar water heating.
Within the framework of these strategies, Intersolar Mexico will be the only forum that will bring together the entire solar industry and the conference program that presents the most innovative projects and programs.
About Intersolar Mexico
