In support of the first World Refrigeration Day, which will take place on 26 June, and with the aim of raising awareness and increasing the accessibility of the refrigeration sector from the grassroots internationally, the International Refrigeration Institute (IIR) is convening all stakeholders to actively bring the HVAC/R sector forward. to the public eye by organizing initiatives in their national markets.
Such initiatives could include, for example, holding open days at refrigeration training centers, organizing a poem or photo contest in coordination with national engineering schools, proposing initiation to sign language refrigeration webinars, or visiting local schools to provide for the younger generation. an opportunity to discover the countryside.
As the only independent intergovernmental organization in the field of refrigeration, the IIR will create and promote a directory of all the different activities that will take place around the world to support this day.
