Argentina. The Intensive Face-to-Face Course: Energy Assessment in Buildings Energy Audits – ASHRAE Building Energy Assessment Professional BEAP Course will be held on Saturdays, April 27, May 18, June 8 and 29 at two venues in the federal capital - Buenos Aires.
The event seeks to train with BEAP certified professionals and acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to perform the ASHRAE-Building Energy Assessment Professional certification and be able to carry out energy audits around the world.
During the first part of the course, the methods and processes necessary for energy assessment and certification in a building will be presented. During the last weeks the students will carry out a fieldwork in a real building. This work will involve the realization of a preliminary analysis of energy use, a "walk-through" review, measurements of the Quality of the Indoor Environment (IEQ), analysis of energy efficiency measures, post-audit reports and preparation of the presentation of Building EQ. It will be guided by certified professionals to present a Building EQ qualification.
