International. Ziehl-Abegg announced the opening of a new subsidiary located in the European town of Nieuwkuijk (NL) to facilitate strong growth in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. "Customers value the experience of Ziehl-Abegg employees," says Peter Fenkl, CEO of Ziehl-Abegg.
Fenkl says the Ziehl-Abegg Benelux team is doing a great job and helping to save energy in many buildings and industrial applications. Due to the substantial growth in turnover and consequently in the number of employees, the previous office and warehouse in Hedel had become too small. The Managing Director of Ziehl-Abegg Benelux is Tino Oirbans. He explains: "The new building offers space for further growth of the company and the modern and professional atmosphere with all facilities inspires our employees and customers."
Germany-based ziehl-Abegg has been producing electrical devices for more than 100 years. Due to this experience the products are very durable. Ziehl-Abegg is a world leader in technology to invent and produce bionic fans, with blades inspired by nature. For example, one of the best-selling fans is a fan with blades that copy the wing structure of an owl. Engineers reduced fan noise by more than 50 percent with this "owl technology."
During the opening ceremony, Oirbans, Managing Director of Ziehl-Abegg Benelux, welcomed representatives from local government, politics, customers and acquaintances. He stresses that Ziehl-Abegg's success is the result of hard work: hard work both during production and during employee training.
The building is located in a location A, meets the latest requirements. For example, a heat pump installation is used, equipped with ZAplus fans from Ziehl-Abegg and the roof of the building is equipped with 700 solar panels.
