Mexico. Emerson recently opened a new Learning Center in Mexico City, named after Javier Ortega in a posthumous tribute to who was copeland's first Technical Manager in the region.
"The learning center consists of a space where it is sought to simulate for educational purposes all the applications of air conditioning and commercial and industrial refrigeration of the Mexican market. In addition to this there is a fully dynamic classroom room where you can write on all the walls to hold dynamic meetings. The learning center has the peculiarity that everything is mobile, giving total flexibility to have dynamic training, "explained Alonso Amor, Technical Manager of Emerson.
Among the activities that people will find, various trainings will be offered among which are: Refrigeration Principles, Compressor Failure Analysis, Electronic Controller Programming, Supermarket Certification, Industrial Refrigeration as well as a Certification for Counter Sellers.
Alonso also explained that some of the courses will soon offer a DC-3 certificate which grants participants the accreditation of the training hours before the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
The Learning Center has a space of just over 125 square meters where there are: Refrigeration Simulators, Virtual Reality Compressor Analysis System, Compressor Analysis Tables and a Climate Chamber that can regulate any temperature from +4°C to -40°C.
In this space, the pipe joining works were carried out with pressing technology (without welding) which helped to carry out the installation in a simple and leak-free way.
"For Emerson it is another step in the execution of a high-level training with interaction of the participants with real teams. The Learning Center in Mexico City is the second of its kind in Latin America and joins the one located in Brazil (Sorocaba, São Paulo) with the intention of seeking better refrigeration facilities by raising the level of labor," said Alonso Amor.
It should be noted that this new Center is enabled for anyone, just by writing to the email [email protected]
