Peru. With a gala dinner held at the La Rosa Náutica Restaurant in Miraflores de Lima, Cold Import celebrated its 60th anniversary on September 27.
The dinner was attended by national and international suppliers, business partners, distributors, customers, media and collaborators of the company, in a very comfortable space specially prepared, which included an interactive ecran that impacted on the attendance.
During the celebration, the General Manager of Cold Import, Adán Cruz, took the floor highlighting the tenacious work of its founders: Nicolo Giaimo and his wife María de Giaimo, in addition to making a brief historical review, exposed the main milestones of development, He also sent a message of thanks to the different suppliers and to Peruvian society in general for the confidence received in accepting the products that are marketed as well as having managed to conduct business with large, medium and small companies, and generate jobs in the country.
Cruz also mentioned that Cold Import S.A. has obtained the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications thanks to the efforts of its collaborators, based on the fact that there should always be ideas of innovation, creativity, social commitment and environmental protection.
During the event, Sebastián Giaimo – Chairman of the Board and Adán Cruz, received several commemorative plaques and presents in recognition of their outstanding work over many years of representation: Carrier InterAmerica Corporation, Emerson – Copeland, Tecumseh do Brasil, Heatcraft, Lu-ve Contardo, Mastercool, Rimsa Saginomiya, among others.
