Argentina. The company BGH and the installer Dieger S.A. carried out a renovation in the air conditioning system of the Casa Rosada, headquarters of the Executive Power of the Argentine Republic.
The challenge was to replace the existing VRF Heat Pump systems of obsolete technology, with non-ecological refrigerant gas and close to the end of their useful life. The project seeks to provide greater operational flexibility to the facility in order to eliminate recurring complaints from users about the lack of comfort. In addition, improve the energy efficiency of the air conditioning installation. Installation of a system that does not interrupt the operation of the offices and that minimizes the civil works required.
VRF BGH Heat Recovery systems were installed with indoor units of the cabinet floor type, one per office, replacing existing equipment.
Benefits achieved
With this installation, greater energy efficiency was achieved. Each office can operate the corresponding dedicated indoor floor unit individually, being able to select the desired mode and temperature, without affecting the rest of the installation. Indoor units can coexist operating in cooling and heating simultaneously.
A total of 80 tons of refrigeration were installed in this project.
