United States. Panasonic Eco Solutions North America received the 2018 Energy Star Award for Excellence in Product Design, which will be presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. At a ceremony in Washington on April 20.
Panasonic Eco Solutions will be honored for its efforts to improve the availability of energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions in the market. Excellence in product design is awarded to companies that demonstrate leadership in the design and manufacture of Energy Star certified products.

Panasonic confirmed that it has 50 Energy Star certified models available in 2017. The brand also collaborates with Energy Star and several other organizations to educate consumers about the importance of energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
In 2016 alone, Energy Star certified products, homes, buildings and plants helped Americans save more than $30 billion in energy costs and approximately 400 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity while achieving sweeping emissions reductions.
