International. The winners of the Breeam Awards 2018, for project construction and professionals with extraordinary achievements in sustainability, were recently revealed in London.
The Breeam is a system developed in the United Kingdom that is the oldest of the existing ones aimed at verifying the aspects of environmental sustainability in buildings.
Winners include many of the most innovative and sustainable buildings in the UK, and in countries around the world, from China to Brazil. The awards, held this year in partnership with ecobuild, also recognize the great achievements of Breeam architects, M&E consultants and advisors, and Breeam again partnered with GRESB to recognize socially responsible investing. New this year are the Regional Awards for building projects that will inspire sustainability advances in their particular areas of the world.
Selected by an independent panel of experts from the short lists of the year's highest-scoring Breeam-certified projects, the winning buildings represent excellent design and performance in new and existing buildings, refurbishments and refurbishments. The winners are as follows:
