After the bidding processes carried out during the past year, the Chinese manufacturer Midea has turned out to be the winning company and will be in charge of supplying air conditioning solutions for seven of the twelve official stadiums that will host the World Cup matches in Russia.
This will be the second time that Midea will participate as a provider of air conditioning solutions in World Cup projects, after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The solutions offered at these sites will be presented as a combination of water-cooled VRFs, screw chillers and fan coil units. The stadiums covered with the solutions will be Luzhniki Stadium (Moscow) and stadiums in Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Samara and St. Petersburg.
