Colombia. For March 20, the Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction (CCCS) organizes the practical workshop "How to document LEED projects with natural ventilation?" which will be held in the city of Bogotá.
This workshop is aimed at sustainability consultants who advise and document LEED projects, bioclimatics interested in designing projects that work with natural ventilation and/or designers of air conditioning systems.
Workshop activities:
- Pre-requisite explanation of ventilation minimums for indoor ambient quality in LEED version V3 and V4
- Presentation of the Alternative Compliance Path (ACP) to document compliance with the minimum ventilation prerequisite – "Verification protocol for engineering designs of natural ventilation systems in tropical climates"
- Practical protocol implementation exercise
- Sample of a LEED certified project success story using the ACP
- Presentation of the procedure for implementing the ventilation protocol
