United States. ASHRAE has received the prestigious Partnership Award from the Ozone Secretariat of the United Nations Environment Programme for its extraordinary commitment and contribution to the progress and achievements of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary.
The award was presented to ASHRAE at the 2017 Ozone Awards ceremony on November 23 in Montreal. Olesen, President of ASHRAE 2017-2018. "We are proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to continuing our partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme as we work towards a more sustainable built environment."
