Argentina. The Argentine Chapter of ASHRAE recently signed a collaboration agreement with the National Technological University of Buenos Aires with the purpose of jointly promoting actions aimed at improving quality, creating bonds of reciprocal collaboration in the academic fields, scientific and cultural.
The agreement was concluded at the Rectorate of the National Technological University. It was signed by the Dean of the UTNBA, Eng. Guillermo Oliveto, the President and Vice President of the Argentine Chapter of ASHRAE, Eduardo Conghos and Esteban Baccini, respectively. Also present were Engineers Andres Bursztyn (Vice Dean of the UTNBA and Secretary of ICT of the University), Florentino Roson Rodríguez (former President of the Argentine Chapter of ASHRAE and graduate of the Faculty) and Natalia Catalano (graduate and professor of the UTNBA).
"In a world of permanent technological advancement, where we must take more and more care of natural resources, the commitment of Engineering in relation to the sustainability of constructions is essential. This is the premise for which it has been decided to unite wills and efforts between both Institutions," said Eng. Guillermo Oliveto.
So far, the Faculty has held ASHRAE ARGENTINE CHAPTER Congresses on Energy Efficiency in Buildings and professional certification evaluations have been carried out. From the signing of this agreement, the activities will be expanded.
