Argentina. A new installation of VRF systems was carried out in a renowned supermarket chain in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
In order to renew the air conditioning system, a total of 23 VRF systems of the Mitsubishi Electric brand were installed at the Carrefour Salguero headquarters, equivalent to 585 tons. The equipment was used to air condition all the facilities of the hypermarket: the main hall, the entrances, the line of boxes, the commercial offices and the plant dining room.
"During the work, the commercial facilities were not affected, so the hypermarket continued to operate normally without affecting sales," said Agustín Maranca, an engineer who worked together with the BGH Professional Air Conditioning team to carry this work forward.
The models of the installed systems were as follows:
• Outdoor units I PUHYP350
• Outdoor Units II PUHYP400
• Centralized control system: AG150
• PFAV750 large capacity indoor units
• Indoor units of smaller capacity type Cassette, Split Mural, Low Silhouette.
PFAV equipment is composed of large capacity indoor floor units with high air flow, specially designed to cover all the needs of all types of diaphanous rooms or large surfaces. Thanks to the wide range of flow rates (from 25kW and 90m3/min to 80 kW and 120 m3/min), the high static pressure up to 330 Pa and a cooling distance up to 165m, these units are perfectly adapted to this type of application.
