United States. As applications for CO2 cooling systems expand, it is necessary to increase competencies around their use in industry. To help solve this growing need, Danfoss has developed the Mobile CO2 Training Unit, which is packed with CO₂ solutions and interactive learning modules, and will make stops in the Pacific and Mountain regions while traveling in the United States.
Danfoss believes that the CO2 Mobile Training Unit addresses a critical industry need for training in emerging technologies in natural refrigerants, which are an economical and sustainable option for refrigeration systems.
"The technology for CO2 is available today, although it continues to evolve," said Jeff Staub, Director of Regional Applications – Americas. "Part of our mission with the CO2 Mobile Training Unit is to provide system builders as well as contractors, service technicians, installers and technical departments with the necessary CO2 knowledge that will enable them to harness the full potential of this natural cooling resource."
The CO2 solutions presented in the mobile training unit range from simple gas bypass systems to more complex parallel compression solutions with or without heat recovery.
