Colombia. On April 24 and 25, the Third International Seminar "Energy and Environmental Management in Buildings" will be held in the city of Bogotá, which will delve into the International Standards of ASHRAE.
The seminar is aimed at builders and investors in the construction sector, developers, architects and project engineers; property managers and operators; building operation and maintenance managers, and construction consultants and contractors.
Some of the objectives of the event are the following:
Present the Scope, Objectives and Contents of ASHRAE Standards 55, 62.1, 90.1 and 189.1
Perform the analysis of the procedures for compliance with these Standards.
Recognize the factors, variables and calculations that affect their compliance.
Identify the associated technologies and procedures that benefit energy performance in buildings.
Demonstrate the benefits of modeling and technical-economic evaluation of Investment Alternatives.
Encourage the use and application of these standards in the country.
The CCEE (Colombian Council of Energy Efficiency) and ASHRAE Colombia Chapter (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) in collaboration with: ACAIRE (Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), SCA (Colombian Society of Architects, Bogotá Chapter) and AEE Colombia Chapter (Association of Energy Engineers of the The United States) have considered it a priority to support the industry in strengthening the Management of Efficient and Sustainable Buildings.
