Chile. The contractor Company Termofrío highlights among its projects carried out in recent years the one executed in the BMW building in the city of Santiago, in which it was present in the assembly of an installation of 16,000 square meters.
The air conditioning project was developed in one of the most recognized buildings in the city. The project included the installation of energy-efficient air conditioning equipment. For this, the company designed a system with four chillers, heat pump and extraction fans for bathrooms and kitchenettes, which used linear diffusers in the enclosures that follow the internal line of the building harmoniously. Air handling units were designed for the sales, exhibition, workshops and cafeteria areas, while fancoils were used in the offices. In the workshop area, a low-speed extraction was carried out with the necessary flow rate to ventilate the environment when the cars are on.
The assembly of the project began in March 2013 and the company had as its main goal to be able to deliver the project within the established deadline, which was scheduled for July of that same year, when the renowned brand carries out the renovation of its cars.
