United States. Vertiv, formerly known as Emerson Network Power, announced that its Liebert cooling technologies have received the renowned AHRI Certified rating from the DATACOM certification program from the AHRI Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute.
Vertiv is the first U.S. company to achieve this certification for its data center cooling systems.
"We are proud that our Liebert cooling products are now AHRI certified," said Jorge Murillo, Vertiv's Technical Director for Thermal Management in Latin America. "AHRI certification allows data center customers to accurately compare the capacity and efficiency of cooling systems that have been evaluated under rigorous standard testing. It also validates the Liebert Computational Simulation System, a tool developed by Vertiv engineers to verify the performance metrics of the precision systems we submit to AHRI for verification and certification."
Bill Tritsis, Vice President of AHRI Certification, said, "We are pleased to have Vertiv as part of the AHRI certification program for Datacom equipment cooling systems. Companies that have their products certified demonstrate an admirable commitment to their customers. And by specifying equipment from manufacturers participating in AHRI's performance certification programs, customers can be confident that their equipment will perform as such."
