Latin America. Overall, the Latin American refrigerator market is around US$300 million, accounting for about 4% of the global chiller market.
Despite the location of the main markets near Ecuador, the chiller market is relatively small with the use of industrial chillers representing a large percentage, said the publication JARN in a report.
The four most important chiller markets in this geographical area: Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Chile, account for approximately 90% of the total Latin American chiller market.
According to the publication, fortunately, some of the external reasons for Latin America's problems began to be solved in 2016. Improvements were observed in areas such as the prices of commodities exported by these countries, which has helped improve their trade balance and provided revenue for additional projects, including infrastructure.
