With the aim of giving continuity to the actions proposed to reduce the environmental impact, Trane recently carried out the second edition of the Reforestation program "One more tree, one more breather", on the Moctezuma hill of the municipality of Naucalpan, which seeks to recover green spaces.
More than 130 colleagues from Trane and Ingersoll Rand, together with their families, managed to increase by 57% the number of conifers planted compared to the first version of the campaign carried out in June 2015, thus closing the day with 520 new ash trees, endemic species of that region.
"At Trane we lead by example, we are a company committed to sustainable and energy efficiency processes, and we are sure that the complement to this effort is the creation of actions that help combat the deterioration of the environment," said Beatriz Gómez, Marketing Manager of Trane.
This campaign is carried out in conjunction with Grupo Asociación Interuniversitaria Ambiental, GAIA Mexico; non-profit organization founded in 1996 dedicated to carrying out actions of education, sustainability, cleaning, recycling, promotion and social participation in favor of the environment, which advises Trane on the promotion and execution of sustainable campaigns.
