International. Mitsubishi Electric has added two new enhancements to its M-Series family - the indoor floor-mounted unit: MFZ-KJ and the MXZ-C NA2 and NAHZ2 multi-zone outdoor unit.
Each of these units features innovative technology that allows HVAC contractors to maximize their cooling and heating system designs, providing homeowners with greater savings and convenience.
The MFZ-KJ indoor unit has significant innovation in its RapidHeat function. This technology circulates air efficiently to quickly raise the ambient temperature during the colder months. RapidHeat technology uses the bottom of the multi-flow blade to carry the hot air inside the return vent of the indoor unit, where it is recirculated through the heat exchanger before being released into the room through the top of the multi-flow weather vane. This process significantly reduces the time it takes to heat the room, ensuring superior heat and comfort.
Some features of the equipment:
- Higher SEER (up to 28.5) and HSPF (up to 13). Works with 25 percent less energy than competing models
- Distribution of hot air even after 10 minutes
- Blue Fin coating on the heat exchanger, which gives greater coil protection for prolonged performance
To complement the MFZ-KJ indoor unit, HVAC contractors now have a durable heat pump ready for the task. The MXZ-C NA2 and NAHZ2 were built for the toughest environments. Outdoor units are often at risk of being exposed to excessive air pollutants, which can hinder operating performance. In addition, with the Hyper-Heating option, the MXZ-C NAHZ2 outdoor unit can supply heat to ambient temperatures below -13°F, with 100% heating capacity at 5°F.
