Mexico. On July 1, Trane celebrated its first 25 years of work in the North American country, where it entered in 1991 from the announcement of the signing of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), which would later evolve into the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Trane's first office was established in Naucalpan, State of Mexico and currently has six sales offices located in Mexico City, Monterrey, Cancun, Guadalajara, Tijuana and Mexicali, as well as 18 regional service offices and ten parts centers called Servipartes. On the other hand, the company has more than 1,100 employees, a manufacturing plant for compressors and package equipment in Apodaca, Nuevo León; as well as two distribution centers.
Jaime Jiménez, CEO of Trane, mentions that "our goal is to support and promote the importance of having comfortable and pleasant spaces that guarantee the well-being of the inhabitants of houses and buildings, while we care about the structure of the building and its operating goals, such as energy savings and cost reduction in the life cycle of the property".
Trane's history began in 1913 in the heart of James and Reuben Trane as a family-owned plumbing business in La Crosse, Wisconsin, becoming over more than 100 years of legacy and innovation, the benchmark for air conditioning and temperature control for the creation of comfortable and efficient environments in homes and buildings.
