The main equipment by product type includes high-efficiency HVAC systems, particulate arrester (HEPA) filters, and fan filter units.
Air conditioning systems are the largest contributor to the global cleanroom equipment market. The HVAC segment was valued at US$470.1 million in 2015. The growing need for energy efficiency solutions in the cleanroom market is fueling the demand for HVAC.
HEPA filters are the second largest contributor to the global cleanroom equipment market. The segment was valued at US$273 million in 2015. All certified cleanrooms must use HEPA filters for air filtration.
