International. Specialty chemical company Clariant introduced heat transfer fluids to the market for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry due to the increasing demand for manufacturing efficient and safe solutions in India.
Clariant's industrial and consumer specialties unit commissioned these heat transfer media – Antifrogen L, Antifrogen N and Protectogen C Aqua – for application in the HVAC industry.
Antifrogen L is a glycol-based mono-propylene heat transfer fluid, for special use in the pharmaceutical and food industry, where hygienic manufacturing is critical.
Antifrogen N is a monoethylene glycol-based heat transfer fluid for industrial applications such as closed hot water heating systems, cooling and cooling equipment, heat pumps, gravity systems and wind turbines.
Protectogen C aqua is a long-lasting glycol-free concentrated corrosion inhibitor for cold water systems with closed heating circuits or cooling circuits, and which do not require ice protection.
