Within the framework of the development of the LEED Program in Colombia, the Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction (CCCS) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) convene a session on the technical solutions that have jointly incorporated the LEED sustainable construction certification tool.
The one-hour session will be held on April 29 from 11:00 a.m. (local time).
Both organizations will present an informative talk on the technical improvements developed in LEED for Colombia and Latin America and obtain a preview of the session that Brendan Owens, Head of Engineering of the USGBC, will have in the framework of Construverde, an event that will be held on May 18 and 19 in Bogotá.
Brendan oversees the technical development and integration of certification systems. In this role he also collaborates with the development teams of LEED, PEER and other certification systems and led the team that set the new global goals for the new version 4 of the LEED sustainable building certification system.
