International. After a one-year construction period, the refrigeration compressor manufacturer, Bitzer, has opened a new international training center with an area of 1,500 square meters and located in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen.
The company named this establishment after Peter Schaufler, owner of the company, who recently passed away.
The company said schaufler Academy is ready to make a significant impact with its needs-based seminar program, giving participants – including planners, system manufacturers and service personnel and operators – the skills needed to cope with the demands of their day-to-day tasks.
Using modern cooling systems, application engineers will provide training and training of specialized personnel and service personnel from around the world at the new schaufler Academy. "The fact is that modern technology is only truly sustainable if used correctly. Having competent personnel is an indispensable prerequisite for the reliable and efficient operation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems," reads an excerpt from the statement.
The new complex of three floors and ten meters high has five theoretical work rooms and three rooms for practical training, allowing several training sessions that will take place at the same time. The building was designed in such a way that it can be used for a variety of purposes: three training rooms can be connected to form a large conference room with capacity for 120 people. Moreover, the Schaufler Academy contains office space for instructors and a dining room with capacity for 110 training participants, as well as employees on the production floor. It also serves as a reception building for the production facility in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen, the international competence center for Bitzer screw compressors.
