Brazil. Chemours was present at Febrava 2015 where it took the opportunity to present itself as a new brand of DuPont's independent chemical solutions line. There, Diego Boeri, Global Head of Chemours' Fluorchemicals area, spoke about the company's expectations.
The brand that under the name of DuPont was in force for 200 years, has a presence in 134 countries of the world and has 55 manufacturing locations.
During a press conference held within the framework of Febrava, Diego Boeri highlighted the importance of the new brand for several reasons, one of them is because it will allow them to respond with greater agility to shipments to their customers, achieve greater simplicity in operations and customer service.
"We are a $6.5 million company that still has the same working group, but knows that we have to invest more to position the brand. We want to make it clear that our primary objective is to simplify operations," said the executive.
The company also assured that it will focus its efforts on the subject of Research and Development, and on the creation of new applications for all the chemical segments in which it is, of course, the area of air conditioning and refrigeration.
"We want to offer the best combination in sustainability and efficiency, which is why we are launching the Opteon brand in Brazil for the automotive air conditioning sector and for industrial refrigeration, and at the same time we are relaunching the Freon brand as a simplifier of other brands," said Diego Boeri.
Likewise, the company assured that despite the different economic moments that Latin America is going through, they will not modify their commercial strategies and will continue working to position themselves in the region.
