International. Munters AB has revealed the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire HB Group, an international company that specializes in bespoke hygiene climate control systems for the food/dairy industries.
HB Group has offices in Almelo, the Netherlands (headquarters, with sales and manufacturing) and a Joint Venture in Hrusky, Czech Republic (manufacturing plant). Munters is an energy-efficient air treatment solutions company.
The agreement combines the strength of Munters and HB Group by leveraging sales channels, software tools, service scope and munters' operational excellence and knowledge, and HB Group's application, product offering and customer base. The merger of the two companies will strengthen Munters' ability to be a valued partner for its customers. By offering a wider range of products and services, Munters ensured it will be better positioned to meet all of its customers' air handling needs.
