United States. A heating and air conditioning unit separated from a crane and fell 30 stories to the ground in Manhattan, leaving seven people injured, The New York Times reported.
The crane was lifting the equipment into an engine room on the roof of an office building. But the crane dropped the unit, which scraped the building during its descent.
The New York Fire Department said two construction workers and five pedestrians suffered minor injuries, described as lacerations, from falling debris.
