International. The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) recently announced the appointment of Terri Wills as its new Executive Director, a position she will take from next June.
Terri Wills will lead WorldGBC initiatives that support its members, encourage collaboration and innovation, and promote public policymaking to accelerate global change. Wills will join WorldGBC as she leaves her current role as Director of Global Initiatives with C40 Cities, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation.
"We are thrilled to welcome Terri as our new Executive Director. The sustainable construction movement is growing at a good pace. Today we have sustainable building councils in 100 countries and the WorldGBC continues to grow in its influence to transform the construction industry towards sustainability. Terri's experience and leadership will take us to the next level," said Bruce Kerswill, Chairman of the WorldGBC Board of Directors.
