Mexico. Trane introduced its new TVR Select and TVR II variable refrigerant flow (VRF) smart heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, which can be adapted to a variety of applications with high energy efficiency standards.
"Through our TVR solutions, Trane is committed to innovation in HVAC systems, allowing investors, managers and builders of new and existing buildings to access new technologies to facilitate their sustainable building initiatives under the premise of lower energy consumption and reduce operating costs," says Leandro Tolosa-Zenklusen, Trane's unit product leader for Latin America.
The Trane TVR Select and TVR II systems are designed to provide heating and cooling, either independently (heat pump systems) or simultaneously (heat recovery systems) in a controlled and efficient manner. TVR II systems feature a new series of highly efficient water-cooled units, which further reduce energy consumption while maintaining optimal weather conditions within the building, providing a flexible solution for each project.
The TVR Select and TVR II achieve higher levels of energy efficiency in both cooling (EER) and heating (COP) by using an optimized fan design with DC motor (direct current), an improved high-performance heat exchanger, switched DC Inverter switched reluctance (brushless) compressors and smart defrost.
