International. The creation of a joint venture that will manufacture Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRF) systems in China has been announced by Midea Commercial Air-Conditioner Division and Bosch Thermotechnics.
This joint venture is expected to begin production in January 2016. The headquarters will be located in the same place where Midea has its production center in Hefei, China. In its first year of operation, about 100 people will benefit from the agreement and will have jobs. The terms of the deal were not disclosed and the operation is being verified by the responsible authorities.
To highlight, the agreement includes that VRF systems will be offered under the Bosch brand. The products will integrate Midea technology and Bosch thermotechnical systems and the joint venture will be responsible for conducting its own research and development.
